By request, a repeat from last week:
Spinach & Cheddar Quiche (regular crust)~should be ready tuesday afternoon.

Wednesday: Potato leek soup & asian slaw

Baked goods this week: Tues. multigrain bread, currant scones, cookies. Weds. currant scones & cookies, Thurs. ginger scones & cookies, Fri. potato bread, apple pies, ginger scones, cheese scones & cookies. Sat. Pies & cheese scones. not many pies this week - - call if you really want one!

If you missed the pies last week, the apple-rhubarb was one of my favorite ever. To be repeated this week.

Rhubarb and Asparagus are available in small amounts from our garden. Congrats to the first asparagus recipients this week (3-4 lbs. total...)!

Spanakopita~Local organic spinach & Camembrie. In Organic Phyllo with Local wild leeks & local organic shallots.

Savory Slaw~Crunchy & fresh.

Baked Tofu~With local honey & garlic, organic ginger, and vinaigrette.

Carrot-tahini soup~We tried this one at the end of last week and liked it so much, I’m making it again! Vegan.


Spanakopita~Mountain Yard Farm organic spinach, local feta, fresh mozz. and ricotta! In Organic Phyllo with organic red onions and seasonings.


Fresh Salsa.


Asian Slaw~By request. A nutty, wilted slaw.


Herb chevre & buttermilk dressing.


Chocolate Cream Pie!


I felt foolish planting peas in March, but they’re all up, along with asparagus, garlic & rhubarb. Many local greens are for sale in the shop these days. I also have a nice selection of early, cold-hardy plants from Red Wagon Plants for sale. Our own plants are coming along, too.

Summer Salad Week:


Egg Salad: Local eggs from chickens fed organic grain, Mayonnaise (same eggs, organic sunflower oil, local organic cider vinegar, mustard powder), Mustard (see Raye’s ingredients), local organic shallots, our chives, white balsamic vinegar, salt & pepper. ***raw eggs in mayo***

(imagine this on thinly sliced multigrain bread with pea greens...)


chicken Salad: Misty Knoll chicken, our buttermilk chevre dressing (see ingredients last week), local apples, organic red onion, organic celery, local yogurt, organic lemon juice, our chives, salt & pepper.


Potato Salad: Local Organic Potatoes, the last jar of our honey dill pickles, organic red onion, organic celery, Raye’s mustard, olive oil, vinegars, salt & pepper.


Chicken noodle soup by request. This one is in the works, with homemade stock and noodles.


also in the works~Golden Noodle soup. A vegetarian version of the above.
