Foote Street Farmstand Menu week of March 1st:


I enjoyed my month off and am back in action. Come in and wish me a Happy Birthday before March 15th for a free hot drink (coffee, tea, cocoa, hot cider, espresso...your choice!).


Carrot Apple Ginger Soup ~ Local organic carrots, local apple cider, caramelized onions & organic Hawaiian ginger, cooked in butter with turmeric.


Black Bean ~ Our usual, plus local organic corn from the freezer. Made with Butterworks Farm organic black beans, our garlic, local organic carrots & many other savory ingredients!


Wheat berry salad with roasted apples, Shallots & spinach ~ Gleasons Grains organic wheat berries cooked & tossed with oven-roasted red onions & Orb Weaver Farm shallots, local apples & organic baby spinach in a mustard vinaigrette.


Hoping to make our potato-crusted quiche soon...


The usual baked goods schedule, with multigrain bread on Tuesday, potato bread on Friday, and scones and cookies daily.


***Pre-order forms for seedlings are on the counter, potting soil is in & we will soon have a beautiful selection of seeds from Seed Savers Exchange available for starting your garden. Spinach is growing in the greenhouse!***
